The Village Club Adult Day Centre, the newest service for seniors on the Shepherd Village campus, opened to serve seniors October 1, 2008. The Centre offers care and support in a social environment to individuals over age 65. This program helps us fulfill our mandate to provide a continuum of care.
A full day of structured activities is offered in the modern, newly renovated space, as well as a nutritious lunch and snacks. Participants have the opportunity to try new activities, meet friends or rest and relax in the quiet room. Staff supervision, activity supplies and food are some of the costs covered in the daily fee for this specialized program.
