Shepherd Terrace, one of four buildings on the Shepherd Village campus, is located at 3758 Sheppard Ave. E. in Toronto, beside the Agincourt Mall, south of the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course, and near the Agincourt District Library, Stephen Leacock Seniors Centre, and the Scarborough Hospital- Birchmount Campus.

This accredited retirement residence offers two types of accommodation in a spacious, beautifully appointed environment for seniors who need some assistance with daily living activities. With a complete recreation program, you can expect fantastic entertainment, exercise classes, social events, spiritual programming and more.

Our Assisted-Living (floors 3-5) boasts 112 studio and one bedroom suite, ranging from 215 to 590 sq.ft. capable of accommodating a single resident or a couple.

 

Residents of these floors enjoy three full-meals per day, with snacks, tea and coffee always available between meals. Suite housekeeping and laundry of linens and towels is provided on a weekly basis. All suites are equipped with a 24hr emergency response system located in the living-room and bathroom, providing our residents peace-of-mind that emergency help is available when needed.

Some nursing care is included in the monthly rent and is subject to a medical assessment. Our nursing team is well trained and equipped to assist residents with physical or mental health conditions who have difficulty performing activities of daily living. Our qualified nursing staff work with the resident, the family in establishing a plan of care to ensure the residents needs are met.

The suites and common areas are perfectly suited to ensure residents enjoy their freedom, dignity and good companionship in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Cable TV, parking, heat and hydro are some of the additional costs covered in the monthly fee for this all inclusive lifestyle.
